Welcome to the newest challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge blog. This challenge is to create something using your favorite technique.
My current favorite technique is stacked or layered die cuts. By layering pieces together, you can create really nice definition in your die cuts. They stand up and stand out without adding too much bulk to a card. You can use multiple pieces of the same die cut and glue the layers together or you can cut the die cut a second time from foam. Either way, you glue the layers together with liquid adhesive. I like to use Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive from Tonic Studios.
I also love to use flowers in my creations - I don't think you can ever have enough flowers. Sometimes I create my own using cutting dies.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Jennifer! I would have to say that this is a favorite of mine as well! My cards always have some sort of layering on them. I just don't enjoy a flat card! Love your large sentiment die and that gorgeous paper! Have a great rest of your week, Sistah!
