Snowflakes are Falling

The new challenge at Alphabet Challenges is "W" for Whatever You Wish.  I still needed another Christmas card, so I decided to use this cute snowman diecut from K & Co.  I found some snowflake stickers and crystals.  I added a little vintage lace and red crepe paper ribbon (which I have had for quite awhile).  Stop by and see what the rest of the design team created.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Find of the Day - Christmas Stickers

I was excited to see an entire display of Jolee's, K & Co. and Martha Stewart Christmas embellishments at TJ Maxx.  I brought several sticker packages home with me for only $1.49 each! These great embellishments will make the best Christmas cards.   Score!

Christmas is Coming!

Today's challenge at Ruby's Rainbow Challenges is Christmas which is my favorite holiday.   I started with glittered cardstock and added patterned paper that I embossed in the Vagabond.  The poinsetta flower sticker is from Jolee's and the bird is from K & Co.  The crown is from a border sticker, but since it was silver I had to whip out the gold stickles and fix it.  Stop by Ruby's and show us your Christmas card creation.

Candy Cane Christmas Card

This month's theme at Sparkles Christmas Challenges is Feasts and Treats. I chose a candy cane made from painted, vintage buttons and pearl gems for my treat.  I added a paper border that I made using a Martha Stewart punch on one side and I used a vintage piece of lace on the other side embellished with red crepe ribbon.  There just wasn't enough sparkle, so added crystals to the crepe ribbon.  I used my CraftRobo to diecut the doily behind the Noel sticker.  I am glad I have been a design team member for Sparkles all year because I have a really nice sart on my Christmas cards.  Di's Digis has graciously agreed to be our sponsor this month.  Stop by and see what everyone creates.

Fussy and Fancy Heart Card

I created this card for the Heart challenge at the Fussy and Fancy blog.  I was a little surprised that I really didn't have much of a heart selection when I checked my embellishments.  I decided to use a small heart diecut from K & Co., but since it was small, I added a vintage crepe paper border which I glittered.  The crepe paper was a great find from the Speckled Egg website.  I added lots of sparkle and some lace and even a little crown made from a border sticker.

Scandinavian Inspired Christmas Card

I created this Christmas card for the Scandinavian Challenge at Vintage Card Cafe.  These ladies have explained the Christmas and New Year's holidays for both Scandinavia and Norway.  It is fascinating reading.  I used a lace patterned wreath for my focal and added a few mistletoe leaves and holly berries.  I used a diamond cut pattern for a background frame that I cut using my CraftRobo.  No card is complete without a little vintage lace (my absolute favorite embellishment) and sparkle.
