Handmade Paper from the Archives
I was inspired by Lynda Shoup, a mixed media artist, to share some of my handmade paper. She wrote a post about using silk scraps and wool to make yarn. What an amazing idea. I have saved scraps from ribbon embroidery, silk embroidery and cross stitch. These fibers make beautiful paper when mixed with the paper pulp. It has been a long time since I have made paper, but I still have lots of fiber scraps. The purple paper is made mostly from dryer lint.

Jennifer, what wonderful paper! I have been hankering after doing some paper making (I haven't made any in about 10 years). You have inspired me to get back at it!
